occasioned by the recent oin s.-on in the Near East. This item is

CIA Honor Awards Board, will be present also at request) 25X1A9a

a. Legislative Task Force report. It-is suggested that weekly
meetings of the CIA Career Service Board be held for the next
four weeks to discuss the eight major items recommended by the
Task Force.

to the DCI of the authority to award the Medal of Freedom.
Presumably, there will be two alternatives: Amendment of the
Executive Order or letter request to one of the Armed Forces
Secretaries that the Secretary delegate to the DCI authority
