SUBJECT : Nomination for Advanced Management Training Program -
25X1 A9a 1a The application of for attendance at
the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration Advanced
Management Program beginning 24 February 1954 is attached for your
consideration.
2. As Chief, Operations Staff, and a key executive of this
25X1A9a Office, I has an Agency-wide record of proven ability as
a senior ence Officer. In his handling of high level
organizational and intelligence problems, he has repeatedly
demonstrated those qualities of insight and leadership which make
for the finest type of career officer. He has a breadth of back-
ground, maturity and judgment, and growth potential which uniquely
qualifies him for this training. It is the considered opinion of

the Graduate Schoo ogram and will return to his present position
well prepared to put the training he will receive to use for the
benefit of this Office as well as the entire Agency.
