The Chairman, in reporting on the status of the two Staff Studies, "Promotion and Assignment Policies", and "Manpower Staffing Requirements", (item 2. on the Agenda.), stated that the Office of Personnel and the Management Staff were making progress in devising implementing procedures. 15th Meeting., Thursdays, 17 November 1955, WOO p.m- DCI Conference .Rodin, Administration Building 3. The Deputy Director (Support) asked that, when the CIA Career Council had approved a regulation or policy paper, that this coma to him for authentication and publication without being referred for further . review. This would shorten the normal tire-consuming co-ordination process. To this the Council agreed. 4, After considerable discussion, the Council rejected the proposed addition to the new Fitness Report (item 3,, on the Agenda.) and directed that printing of the Report be resw ed.
