1a The Council convened to interview additional candidates
for the National War College. The Treasury Department had not been
able to fill its quota and Admiral Wooldridge had informed CIA that
an extra slot was being allotted to this Agency. The Council
interviewed each of the five candidates listed below, three of -
whom had originally applied for selection in December 1955, and two
of whom had been recently nominated by the DD/I.

2. After interviewing each of the five candidates,, the
Council agreed to recommend to the DCI that Mr-
nominated to fill the available slot, and that
be nominated as the firet alternate a
as the second alternate.
3. There being no other business,, the Council adjourned at
4:50 p.m.
