SUBJECT : Persons Nominated by the Director of Central Intelligence
to Attend the Senior Seminar in Foreign Policy
1. The Director, upon the recommendation of the CIA Career Council,
nominated the following persons to attend the 1961-62 session of the Senior
Seminar in Foreign Policy, Foreign Service.

2. Persons nominated to attend the Senior Officer Colleges will be
contacted in the near future by the Director of Training, who makes all
arrangements pertaining to the a nplication and attendance of Agency
representatives at the various colleges.
3. Theattention of principals and alternates selected to attend the
Senior Seminar in Foreign Policy is called to the attached memorandum in
which the Director of TraininP recommends that candidates nominated to attend
the Senior Officer Colleges take the Clandestine Services Review course or
the Intelligence Review course prior to d enarture to their college. This
recommendation was approved by the Sareer Council.
4. The members of the Career Council wish to express their thanks to
those persons who came before the Counc~:OrAbterview.
