SUBJECT: Persons Nominated by the Director of Central Intelligence
to Attend the War Colleges of the Armed Services
1. The Director, upon the recommendation of the CIA Career Council,
nominated the following persons to attend the 1961-1962 sessions of the
War Colleges of the Armed Services.

2. The persons nominated to attend the War Colleges of the Armed
Services will be contacted in the near future by the Director of Training,
who makes all arrangements pertaining to the application and attendance of
Agency representatives at the various Senior Officer Colleges.

3. The attention of principals and alternates selected to attend the
War Colleges of the Armed Services is called to the attached memorandum in
which the Director of Training recommends that candidates nominated to attend
the Senior Officer Colleges take the Clandestine Services Review course or
the Intelligence Review course prior to departure to their college. This
recommendation was approved by the Career Council.
4-. The members of the Career Council wish to express their thanks to
those persons who came before the Council for interview.
