MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Personnel
SUBJECT : Inspector General's Survey of the Office of
Personnel, May 1964
1. The Inspector General has submitted his report of Survey of the
Office of Personnel to the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence for his
approval. A copy of the report is attached for your information and action.
2. While we have not yet been requested to act on this survey, I
believe it would be useful to begin developing our response immediately.
I suggest you proceed to implement those recommendations with which
you agree and develop suitable responses for any which you feel are not
feasible to adopt in their present form. I think it would be well for us to
be in a position to make a preliminary response not later than 15 July 1964.
