(Refer to Item 7, NCM 356.) DIA has accepted the plan in principle and is now examining its details. Amcng other things, the plan provides for major increase (250%) in Chapter I production. selective cut-back of topical and areal coverage by some 30%, and a general increase in over-all NIS production to bout 650 sections a year. The removal of this control does not permit the release of this section to foreign nationals or their governments except by specific authorization of the Director of Central Intelligence in accordance with special procedures established for such release of National Intelligernce..
