by this morning to leave a copy of Annex I of the Global War Plan
for clandestine Operations for coordination. Annex I deals with
the functions under the jurisdiction of the Technical Sarvices Staff
and it is not likely to be of :ajor interest to the DPI Area. They
briefed mee on the general status of war planning, and I agreed to
call then within a few days about our views on Annex 1.
2. In the e'ourse of our discussion, I I said that
there had been no effort so far to forecast rIA requirements on the
'iandestine Cervices in the event of war. He felt that it would be
desirable if some idea could be obtained of the impact of CIA re-
quire tarts on the warti operations of the ;::larrdestine 2 ervioes.
