situation in 3outhes,st Asia, wit~z particular emphasis on thc~
recent allegations directed against the Agency and its pro-
prietary, .Air 1lmerica. The rer~ort of investi~!ation is attached.
2. ~r?e found nothing to substantiate the charges of Agency
or Air America involvement in drug tra~P~t'~icking. So far as we
could determine, no ~~eney officer has ever participated in
or knowingl,Y supported the narcotics industry in any wav. ~ro~n
a,7.1 indications, t:r1r sa~~e can be said for Air America o~'ficers.

strengthen our position in the overall. anti-narcotics e~'fort.
