I am glad to hear that you are so near your degree and also
glad to hear from you.
Because of the particular arrangement of fiscal years and
budget:, I may not be able to establish an official relationship before
1 July 1969, but that is certainly not related to our need here nor
to any loss of interest on my part. I would urge you to consider
dropping in here if you are ever in the area and I may even try to
see you should I visit the Sunnyvale area.
In the meantime, our problems are largely centered on the
improved - or optimum - allocation of a variety of resources against
a variety of tasks. Unfortunately, the objective function to a little
non-linear and maybe even some of the constraints, but that is the
way life is, interesting and challenging.
