Approved F elease 2005/07/20 : CIA-RDP80B01139A000200110035-2 C-O-N-F-I-D-E-9-T-I-A-L CODIB-D-b 1 May 1861 UNITED STATES INTELLIGENCE BOARL COMMITTEE ON DOCUMENTATION CODIB Boston Area Field Trip 1. We have contacted four organisations in the Boston area which are engaged In activities of interest to OODIB and whose facilities we will visit. The attached itinerary should be considered fairly firm. ou might note that Tuesday, 30 May lea holiday If any of you should wish tqAoftend your visit to the area two additional working days (in which event, howe r, return passage would have to be arranged separately). 2. The time and place of assembly will be rum tl at 1515 hours, 23 May at the Butler Aviation Terminal (oo-located with MATS terminal), Washington National Air, rt. The plane chartered is a Convair, the plane and crew will remain with us fq Se duration of the trip. As was the case on the West Coast trip, this is an edulled roundtrip flight: insurance for all passengers in the amount of ';000 per individual Is carried by the airline, as is liability insurance in the event of negligence on the part of the crew. Also unscheduled flight insurance in- available from Mutual of Omaha. 4. The facilities to be visited are within about a six mile radius of Hanscom Air Force Base, hence we plan to land there and stay overnight on 23 and 24 May at the Colonial Inn, Concord, Massachusetts, about three miles from the base. The Inn is fully equipped with air conditioning, dining facilities and cocktail lounge, and costs $10.00/day for a single room but $12.50 for a double; tentatively, 20 singles have been reserved but doubling-up Is undoubtedly desirable, per diem being as it is. A $10.00 deposit per person is required by the management by the 13th, hence we'll need firm indications of your travel intent and accommodation preference before that time. Staying at the Inn would be more convenient than staying in Boston, but if anyone wishes to make separate arrangements, please let us know promptly. We will leave sufficiently early on the 23rd to allow for en unhurried dinner and evening; the reborn filzbt will occur after dinner on 25 May.
