SUBJECT : Committee on Documentation Report of Task
Team III (Foreign Publications)
REFERENCE : USIB-D-39.7/19, 25 October 1966
1. In response to the -action requested in paragraph 3 of the refer-
ence, the State, DIA, NSA, AEC and FBI Members of USIB concurred
in the CODIB recommendations of the subject report. The Acting CIA
Member has submitted the following comment:
"I concur with CODIB recommendations 1 through 5.
I do not concur with recommendation 6. Although fulfillment
of the needs specified in recommendation 6 would be useful,
I do not believe the benefits so derived would be commen-
surate with the additional resources which would be required,
estimated by CODIB as e-
pending on the scope of augmentation. "

2. The Director of Central Intelligence has concurred in the above-
quoted position stated by the Acting CIA Member.
3. Accordingly, unless a USIB member requests reconsideration
of this matter by close of business on Monday, 12 December, it will be
recorded as of that date that the USIB approved CODIB Recommendations
1 through 5 but did not approve Recommendation 6. 25X1A
