SUBJECT: Economic Intelligence
Attached. are two papers you should peruse
before your meeting with John Irwin.. The first
is an excellent rack-up of OER production of
economic intelligence. It was prepared for the
NSCIC Working Group. The second is the memo
you sent to Henry Kissinger commenting on the
PFIAB report on economic intelligence. The
thrust of your response was that you agreed on
the need for greater coordination and suggested
that the CI:i? might play a role in behalf of non-
U SIB agencies. Your memo also downplayed the
extent to which we should get involved in coxn-
