Dear Senator Byrd:
In his letter of 23 March 1973, Mr. Schlesinger
told you that Robert Black, Executive Vice President of
the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, would also be
sending you the names of some possible candidates for
a position with the staff of your Subcommittee on Interna-
tional Finance. However, Mr. Black has sent his names
to this Agency rather than to you, and Mr. Schlesinger
has asked that I forward them.
