MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Country Seminar
1. kked whether more than one CRS analyst
could be included in the "Oil Politics" seminar. I told him that we
were trying to keep it to a size that can be accommodated by STAT
He understood, but felt that so broad a topic (geographically) makes
it hard to narrow the choice to one individual.
2. I also explained to him that we had originally thought in
terms of a seminar on Iran, but had postponed that subject until spring.
I told him we hoped to get one going early next year on another topic.
3. He suggested two likely subjects: East Germany and Cuba.
