SUBJECT: Review of Classification Authority
Delegations
Mr. Colby has completed his review of the proposed deletions
of classification authority delegations. In conjunction with this
review, he has asked that I respond to your memorandum of
13 March 1973, advising you that he wishes you to proceed with
the deletions of the Secret classification authority delegations
identified in the attachment to that memorandum. The Top Secret
delegations must be authorized by the Director and this office
will initiate action on those deletions.
