ESTABLISHMENT OF OFFICE OF
PLANNING, PROGRAMMING, AND BUDGETING
1. Effective 11 October 1965 the Office of Budget, Program
Analysis, and Manpower (O/BPAM) was abolished and a new Office of
Planning, Programming, and Budgeting (O/PPB) was established to
replace it. The former functions of O/BPAM will continue to be
performed by O/PPB, which will also have responsibility for
centralized planning and programming for the Agency.
2. Effective 11 October 1965 John M. Clarke was appointed
Director of Planning, Programming, and Budgeting, reporting to
the Executive Director-Comptroller. I Icontinues as
Chief of the Budget Division (PPB/BD). will be
appointed Chief of the Planning and Programming Division (PPB/PD)
about 1 December 1965.
