SUBJECT Videotape Recordings About CIA
12 NOV 1975
1. This memorandum summarizes the videotape recordings
about CIA which remain on file in the Central Libraries
Division. I would recommend that this list be reviewed by
the DDO and the General Counsel, and erasure made on all or
some of the videotapes according to their wishes.
as already discussed the matter with Angus Thuermer.
Thuermer's need for the videotapes has been satisfied since
he has written transcripts of sixteen of the eighteen programs
listed, and could possibly obtain transcripts of the two
remaining programs (identified by an asterisk) if desired
from his commercial transcription service contact.
2. Erasure of these programs would allow CRS to record
current and future shows of interest without additional cost
for more videotape.
