SUBJECT: Executive Council Meeting on 24 June 1975
Mr. Proctor chaired. Substituting were Messrs.
1. Mr. Proctor said that the President will release the
Director's report prompted by the Seymour Hersh article together
with a summary of its annexes. There will inevitably be some dis-
crepancies between it and the Rockefeller report and the press will
probably play these up.
2. had raised the question of whether to go
ahead with e UM Der er black faculty meeting given the present
atmosphere. Mr. Colby has decided that the session should be
held. has been so advised.
3. The Director has approved going over personnel ceil-
ings in order to hire qualified black and other minority appli-
cants.
4. The Office of Security reports 7 DDI violations during
May. commented that OER is about to issue tougher
instructions on security practices.
5. Mr. Walsh called for nominations for an officer to re-
place in September. Nominations were also requested
for substitutes in job during the period 14 July thru
29 August.
