SUBJECT Clearance to Publish Novel
1. I am submitting herewith for security review
a draft of a novel which I wish to have published.
2. The novel contains no classified information,
nor is any material in the novel based upon classified
'information. The book does not mention CIA and does
not concern US intelligence organizations or
intelligence collection methods.
3. I intend to use a pen name. Even so,
revelation that the author is an employee of CIA
would not reflect unfavorably or sensationally upon
the Agency.
