Approved For Release 2000/08/30 : CIA-RDP80BO150OR000200010020-0 20 August 1975 SUBJECT DIA Tasking for KIQ/KEP Activities Attached is a self-explanatory note from Admiral Harvey once again requesting adherence to the DIA Designated Point of Contact (DPOC) system for KIQ/KEP inputs/requests. (The 22 July list Don refers to in his memo was forwarded to you earlier.) We, of course, want to accommodate his request providing it does not slow down or impede our dealings with appropriate officials within DIA. In the case of the KIQ/KEP process, the DPOC can work to our advantage since the DPOCs serve as single points within the Department of Defense which are responsible for coordination and rapid response to our requests. At a minimum, it would seem appropriate that a drop copy on all KIQ/KEP matters should go to the DPOC. LCeOrZe 1. Carver, !r. George A.
