1. On Saturday night at the Gridiron Dinner, I sat next to
Mrs. Sarah Weddington of the White House Staff and formerly General
Counsel of the Department of Agriculture. I asked her if she knew
of any. lady counsels who might be qualified for our position.
Unfortunately, I could remember the name of only one of the two
ladies I understand we are looking at. She didn't know 5X1
She said she'd be pleased to think of other names for us.
2. I'll be away most of this week. I would appreciate it if 25X1
you would call Mrs. Weddington perhaps on Thursday and tell her that
I had asked you to call in my absence. You could both check the names
of any ladies you have on the list and see if she does have any ideas. ^
