S. contribution to the Royal Lao Government for the month of September not to exceed $2 million; (3) approved a review of intelligence data concern- ing Viet Minh withdrawals from Laos in order to ascertain what information could be given to the RLG and the ICC in Laos without jeopardizing the integrity of intelligence collection; (4) approved the retention of U. S. combat forces in Thailand pe_iding a further review of developments in Laos.
