Approved For Release 2002/08/21 -J DP80B01676R000200140021-4 4 June 1963 MEMORANDUM FOR: Kt4 Mr. Kirkpatrick 25X1A Attached letter was handed to DCI, t USIB meeting. He read it aloud. nd Sherm Kent noted for action. Letter was recovered from DCI's USIB book and sent to ER as25X1A noted by DCI. DCI has always wanted to see all correspondence addressed to him, but no device, including correspondence journal, has been contrived. My own suggestions have not been thought worthwhile. Therefore, I have another one. DCI wants ranked into 25X1A CIA work more. Let's start him off to handle all correspondence addressed to DCI. He can take up daily with a brief report on actions proposed or underway. 25X1A I have noted chit to Mr. Kirkpatrick about shop. It's not quite correct. 25X1A DIA has no objection to declassification and release.
