C. 20503 REFERRAL TO NSC NOT February 15, 1965 REQUIRED Subject: Views of Federal employees on Government military and civilian pay As Chairman of the President's Special Panel on Federal' Salaries, I ask for your assistance in carrying out the President's request that the Panel invite the views of civilian employees and uniformed personnel. The Panel must report to the President on April 1. In order that it may have adequate time to consider the views of interested Federal personnel, the Panel asks.that this memorandum be posted, both in Washington and in the field, on agency bulletin boards used for notifications to employees. NOTICE TO FEDERAL CIVILIAN AND UNIFORMED PERSONNEL The President's Special Panel on Federal Salaries will receive and consider any views on Federal salaries which interested Government personnel transmit in writing. Letters should be addressed: President's Special Panel on Federal. Salaries Executive Office of the President Room 252, Executive Office Building Washington, D. C. 20503 All communications received will become part of the Panel's records. Therefore, the Panel requests that no materials be sent which the writer wishes to keep or to have returned.
