On 17 February Mr. Dale Thompson. Director of General
:services of HEW, telephoned me to request some assistance in
connection with their printing facility. They are setting up a
committee to look over certain aspects of their printing problem
and desire to have on the committee of CIA, Nick
'pence of Navy. and Fred Tew of G PD.
Mr. Thompson explained that had been recom-
ended to them most highly and that this work would not require
more than a few hour s of his time over the next two or three
months. I told Mr. #hompeon that CIA would be pleased to make
is limited assistance if it did not
conflict with personal plans.
