Dear Mr. Salinger:
The enclosed document
is a letter,rhich has been smuggled
prison. It comes from a political prisoner who
says he was a classmate of President-elect.Kennedy at Choate. Copies of
this letter have been sent to several other persons.
In the absence of the Director,;I am sending these on because I be-
lieve you will agree they might be of personal interest to the president-
elect.
