We have planned another in the series of annual con-
ferences of senior civilian and military officials in the Department
of Defense at the Marine Corps Schools, Quantico, Virginia, be-
ginning on the evening of Thursday, 16 June, and extending through
Saturday evening, 18 June 1960.
Your past talks have always been a highlight of our
programs, and we hope that you can open our Friday morning
business session, 17 June 1960, with one of your firsthand a--
praisals of the current situation.
We look forward to your being with us for the entire
program, and we hope that you will be able to accept this invita-
tion to address us. We have included your name in the attached
tentative program in order that you might see the nature of the
program that we are planning.
