SUBJECT: Hoover Commission Report on Intelligence
Activities
Enclosed herewith is a copy of our comments
to the Bureau of the Budget on the unclassified Hoover
Commission Report on Intelligence Activities. As indicated
therein, it would be appreciated if you would advise us
of any views or recommendations which you may wish to sub-
mit for Council consideration with respect to this report.
It will also be appreciated if we might
be advised with respect to any parts of the classified
Hoover Commission Report on Intelligence Activities which
affect the National Security Council's responsibilities.
Again, however, we will await receipt of your views and
recommendations on those matters before scheduling them
for Council consideration.
