MEMORANDUM FOR THE DIRECTOR
1. This memorandum recommends action in paragraph 5.
2. On Friday, 21 November 1958, in the Conference Room of the
East Building, Col. Luker of the Industrial CoIlege_showed the 26-
minute film to which you have been asked to make a 2-minute intro-
duction.
3. Witnessing the picture with me were the following Communism
experts from the Office of Training: Messrs
4. Col. George C. Conner, a Quartermaster officer of the Army
in uniform, did a generalized, leisurely, non-impressive description
of Marxism that was pitched in such a nonchalant key as to raise nor one's
blood pressure. It was a most unimpressive presefntation.
5. The attached memorandum from Matt'Baird represents the view-
point of the five of us to saw the film. We are all in agreement that
it would be undesirable for the DCI to do the introduction to this
picture and it is again so recommended.
