I have reviewed the study on brainwashing which was
prepared by your staff and I wish to express my appreciation
to you for having provided me a copy. This volume has been
received by my staff as a welcome addition to our critically
limited knowledge in the area. We look forward to receiving
subsequent studies of this nature from your staff and anticipate
a broad and profound application of these materials in the
formulation of future Air Force operational and training policies.
I will, of course, forward any comments on this and future studies
should the test of time in the use of these materials make it
advisable.
