establishment of a CIA representative within your Intelligence Staff.
We shall be pleased to assign an officer to your command and are
presently in the process of selecting a suitably qualified individual.
Mr. Amory will be in touch with?'General Taylor when we have made our
choice.
The Memorandum of Understanding ''which you attached has my approval
and, as stated in your letter, will provide the basis upon which the
aforementioned position will be established.
