SUBJECT : Demonstration of CIA Peculiar Items
1. This memorandum suggests action on the part of the DDCI.
The suggested action is contained in paragraph 4 below.
2. Under project representatives of the Technical
Services Staff, Logistics, and War Plans Group Europe conducted

demonstration of CIA peculiar items
September 1957, for representatives of the mi ary commands in
Europe. This demonstration was highly successful, well received and
much credit accrued to CIA in joint UW planning and the development
of requirements for our peculiar items.
The reference letter shows the appreciation with which
was received by the military UW planners and the desire
for repeat and additional demonstrations.
4. It is recommended that you sign the attached letter to Chief
of Special Warfare, Department of the Army.
