Reference is made to Mr. Robert mory#s rnemorand of
February 26th, subject '`3atelligence 3a rt for Long-Term
Planning US Force Requirements' to be developed from detailed
analysis of s -`_-cvtet Force structure.
This marnoraadmn recommends establishment of an
integrated group of possibly six people under the guiidan a of the
Chairman of the Board of National Estimates and responsible to
DCL CIA would provide competent personnel for &ppraieats
the field of overall intelligence, economics and science. Defense
would provide capable personnel to treat with the military aspects
of the problem.
