Ruston noted DIA briefings of certain committees on the Hill,
and it was considered desirable that these briefings be secured for the
information of the DCI.
The DCI indicated his desire to have an overall "brief" on the
NRO problem, There was a discussion of the D/NRO letter regarding
the FY 66 budget.

Farman informed the DCI that the IG report on NPIC would be
available in about two weeks, and reviewed for the DCI the Inspector
General's role in handling various Agency personnel complaints. He
cited a specific case within the DDI and was given guidance by the DCI
in handling this particular individual.
Kent delivered a memorandum to the DCI on the question of the
Soviet IL-28's to North Vietnam.
