D1&T reported that two TACKLE missions, one along the Coast and one into South China, are currently being planned. Kent triggered a discussion which has hit the fan ecutives Director asked if it were true that Senator Russell recently indicated to DCI that CIA budget hearings will be held shortly. No out know the answer, but it was agreed we must find out in order to make preparations for such hearings. D.DCI authorized DDP to move ahead with an overational project DDCI asked DDP to have Colby call DDCI to tell him how the CIA -13 meeting made out yesterday on the Roadwatch program.
