It is being sent by daily courier. Secretary McNamara had made a similar request for his trip to Rome on NATO matters; this request will also be satisfied. Godfrey said that Ben Read, Executive Secretary of the State Department, had asked that the Director discuss 0 views 25X1 on China with Under Secretary Ball. The Director indicated ac- knowledgment. Godfrey said that the Director's briefing for Congressman Mahon will be ready in the early afternoon. Bross said that I had called regarding the PFIAB agenda for 29 and 30 September. The Director said he had no more suggestions and that the composition of the Agency's representation can be decided early next week.
