DD/I noted an interesting analytical cable on Mao's heir apparent, Lin Piao. DD/I reported that closes preparations for a nuclear test at Lop Nor. dis- 25X1 Godfrey reported that the initial demonstrations by the Com- munist Chinese Red Guards against the Soviet Embassy in Peiping were orderly.
