I can find no copy of the "draft of a
memorandum which proposes a compromise
solution on CGS. " As I remember, it was
sent to DD/I with this covering memo.
A copy was handed to I _j by
Mr. Kirkpatrick. then submitted
his remarks dated 13 March and his proposed
rewrite of Mr. Kirkpatrick's memo, dated
16 March.
Mr. Kirkpatrick's draft was subsequently
redrafted (ER 64-2184 dated 26 March) and the
final form was ER 64-2857 dated 21 April 1964.
