1. Implications of Soviet
Moves in Cuba

The Chairman reported that, based on meetings he has had with
certain of the principals of Board members, events have somewhat overtaken
appropriate. As proposed by the Chairman, the Board reviewed and
discussed developments with respect to Cuba and their implications.
2. Special USIB Meetings
The Chairman proposed, and the Board agreed, that a special
meeting of USIB members, with one assistant each if desired, should be
held every morning for the time being at 0830 in the Conference Room of
East Building to review and discuss developments relating to the Cuban
situation.
