MEMORANDUM OF SPECIAL GROUP MEETING, THURSDAY,
MAY 3, 1962.
Time did not permit a meeting of the Special Group except
for a very brief report by Lundahl and an approval of the CIA recom-
mendation
Ray Cline was held over to a later date. Other matters were a over.
The JRC for the month was reviewed and approved.
McCone raised question of why the recent U-2 Kamchatka
flight had not been reported. Gilpatric and Colonel Steakley could
not reply but would look into the matter.
Action: Helms and Karamessines should discuss in detail
with me prior to next meeting.
