1. Colonel Baird reported that the Naval Intelligence
School had made available two slots to CIA. he stated that he
considered this one of the best intelligence schools and pointed
out that it lasts for six months. He asked for nominations to
be submitted to him by ~uednesddy, 11 April.
Colonel Baird reported that he would establish a
program for training uncleared people to be known as Unclassified
Training Croup This program would bring on active duty uncleared
personnel who would be paid during a course of rtussian language and
area training. He stated that it would be necessary for the personnel
to be made available to the course for a minimum of six weeks, which
I&S indicates as the approximate time for an "X" clearance. tie
also indicated that it would be necessary to have a minimum of ten
personnel available for the course every three weeks. Before
starting a course individuals will be assessed in language capa-
bilities. The course will be directed by Colonel Leon Dostert of
the Institute of Language and Logistics, Georgetown Foreign Service
School, and will be open to personnel of the grades GS-7 and above.

France for Armament Aid". He pointed out this item had a 6ashington
date line and raised the question as to now such information might
have become available to the Press.
3. General Wyman said that he was seriously concerned
about the problem of security in "I" Quarters because of the thin
partitions. He indicated that conversations could be heard in the
corridors and asked that something be done to eliminate the security
hazard.

0/S0, of 0/1E, and Il of O/SI had been selected by the
Director to attend the guar College.
