There was discussion of the arrangements to be made for the
Director's trip to Japan. Mr. McConnel asked Mr. to see tna.t t},.ei 25X1
administrative and transportation details were taken care of.
Mr. McConnel asked that a discussion of the Situation ho(,--n hP
placed on the agenda of the Assistant Director's meeting.
Mr. McConnel said that the Army had informed us that our
reserve officers either ire to be called to active duty or to go it the
honorary reserve without any reserve benefits. It was decided not to
place this item on the agenda until the Lirector had decided whether o-r
not to appeal it.
