Mr. I discussed the personnel situation of OPC. It was
noted that this office hoped to obtain an additional
by 1 January 1952. The greater ma ority of these people are to
be used in field positions. is discussing this matter with
Personnel, Security and Communications Division in an effort to
determine whether in fact we can, and will be prepared to, process
this number in addition to recruiting personnel for other offices
of the Agency.
briefly discussed:
a. Progress on the Magnitude Paper.
b. The Military Government papers received from State,
sent to OPC 0 and which will now go to OIC.
c. General Marshall's letter regarding procurement
and training of personnel. In this connection,
has a draft letter to General Bradley.
d. Plans for our new building. DD/A will probably
set up a Building Staff to consider the desires of
the various AD's regarding construction of the
building.
e. The arrival of Mr. I Ion 2 July and
noted that Mr.IIdesires office space in neutral
territory.
Approval was given forl to attend PRC Meetings
at which OPC projects are discussed.
