There was discussion of the CIA Daily Summary and the handling
of cables from the Department of State. It was agreed that the cable
book should go first to the Office of Current Int nce, then to
Dr. Langer, and then to Mr. Mr. is to prepare a 25X1
memorandum on the factors invo ve in handing State cables for
submission to the Deputy Director.
It was decided that NSC papers should be routed with one
copy to Mr. one copy to Mr. and the cop that goes 25X1

It was reported that an agreement had been made for CIA

Letters have been dispatched to the Department of State
delineating the responsibilities following the reorganization of CRE.

The Director signed a letter to General Collins asking for
access to the Adjutant General's files for our investigative staff.
Mr. Jackson said he wished to discuss with the Director
at an early date the procedures for staff work, and indicated that
this might be an appropriate subject for the Director to speak on
at the Assistant Directors meeting next Monday.
