Mr. Jackson mentioned the Pearson article. The DCI feels
that we have been to nice to him in the past and that we should no lorngE-r

for duty on September 17. The Director stated that wi.ll be
Director of Communications with the rank of Assistant Director.

Mr. Dulles brought up the question of the appropriate
rating for General Mr. Wolf will study this and determine
whether. he should be a 1 or 17.
Mr. Dulles reported that Mr. Hoover had pretty thoroughly
blown our o eration with FBI has interrogated one of`
closest associates who disclosed his relationship with us. 25X1

with a copy to us. DCI will call Ar. Ladd.
Mr. Wolf reported that we had been turned down by USAF on
our request for 8 aircraft. DCI will handle this.
Mr. Jackson brow ht up the question of security in Q Feels 25X1

DCI suggested that both Mr. Dulles and Mr. Wisner talk at

Admiral Johnson.
