There was a brief discussion on the proposed intelligence annex to NSC 68. The DCI called attention to certain comments made on the paragraph indicating that the work of the 1AC had been helpful and indicated that he would suggest that the work of the IAC be re- viewed by an impartial group. In this connection, the names of Admiral Souers, Generals Huebner and Chamberlin (former G-2) and Mr. Jackson were mentioned. It was generally felt that the proposed draft was in a preliminary state and would be furtt}er considered by Messrs. Dulles and Jackson. Mr. Wisner noted that neither 25X1 He also stated that directions had been given that such individuals not be approacned without reference?to his office. Tne DCI noted the log item with respect to Mr. and Mr. Wisner reported that 0 had been located and was under observation. In this connection, Mr. Jackson noted the offer of a New York hospital to furnish a properly qualified interne to work with CIA and it was felt that such offer might well be accepted.
