on Mr. Becker (appointment as DD/I) I

2. Mr. Reber suggested that in regard to NSCID-1 (dissein.inati-n
of national intelligence to foreign nations) be consulted for 25X1
guidance before the problem is presented to NSC, It was decided that
this matter be discussed with Mr. Becker.
3. As a result of some success in agreement among IAC repre-
sentatives in recent meetings regarding the Service intelligence
problems Mr. Reber is drafting a cable of instructions for
Truscott. It was stated that the matter probably would be ironed ou',
before the next IAC meeting of 2L January (which would be too late
anyway, since Truscott needed advice immediately). The instructions
to Truscott are to be cleared with DD/P before presenting to 1)u.
