PRESENT: Messrs. Dulles, Wisner, Wolf, Becker, Hedden,
Mr. Dulles:
a. Asked Mr. Becker to introduce Secretary Pace at the Indoctrination
Course at 11 a.m., 11 April. Mr. Becker undertook to do so.

b. Noted the item in the Lo concerning and asked how we were
involved. MMlr. Wisner stated that the top echelon o~ in all nrobabil~ty,
was investing the money in question with an "eye toward the future" and it
appeared to him that these people should be able to handle this problem with

that Mr. Dulles discuss this matter with Mr. Bruce at today's luncheon.

e. Noted that Mr. Sebald, the new U. S. Ambassador to Thailand, was
coming in for a briefing at 11 a.m. on 14 April. Mr. Wisner expressed a ci s_:re

g. Briefly discussed the conversation he had with a certain inuividual
on 9 Ar it concerning the procurement and delivery of a printing press to
and stated that if a commitment on our part had been made he intendfd
to follow through. In this connection Mr. Dulles undertook to notify Mr. golf'

for a thousand CIA employees behind the iron curtain" and asked Mr. Wolf to

i. Noted that he and Mr. 'Wisner had attended a meeting yesterday of the
Joint Chiefs and stated that he was firmly convinced that CIA should have an
observer at all such meetings.
a. faised the question of reporting to the President on the Bolivian
Revolution and, after some discussion, Mr. Dulles asked DD/L' and DD/_1 to
prepare such a report to be included in the President's Book.
b. Noted that he had received a reoort from Col. Edwards on the inui.vicial
in Budget whom they desired to designate as the working level liaison officer to
CIA. Mr. Dulles asked that this report be given his secretary to include in, the 25X1
folder of papers he was holding for the DCI.

b. Stated that Mr. Pforzheimer had reported to him that Congressman Bisbey
had indicated that he would raise the matter of Form 57 in a s: -each 25X1

indicated there were certain other "things" about CIA which he would include
in his speech. Mr. Hedden is discussing this matter with Senator Dirksen and

budget requests for CIA. Hr. Wisner noted that since Proudy was a member
of the Veterans Committee there was a possibility that he might be leadinc,,
up to the number of veterans employed by CIA.
d. Noted that we might receive a call from a Mr. Osborne Pearson,
Assistant Postmaster General, in connection with 25X1
